About this service
Service fees are charges for the work customs performs — they are separate from duty and VAT, which are taxes on the goods. The schedule covers declaration processing, physical inspection, scanning, storage in customs areas, attendance outside working hours and the issue of certificates.
Fees are payable before release. Where a service is not used, no fee is charged; where a consignment remains in a customs area beyond the free period, storage accrues daily.
