Mutual recognition agreement signed with partner administration
Trusted trader status is now recognised by a partner administration, extending facilitation to exports.
A mutual recognition agreement has been signed with a partner customs administration, so operators certified under either programme receive facilitation benefits in both territories.
For exporters, recognition means fewer inspections on arrival and faster release at the partner border. Operators do not need to apply separately; recognition follows from existing certification.
The agreement also establishes a working group on data exchange and joint risk indicators.
